Part-time Food Service Associate​/Dietary Aide

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is part of the Lakeside campus.

The schedule for this position will be Saturdays and Sundays with various shifts of either 7:00am-2:00pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm, as well as two evenings during the week from 3:45pm-7:30pm, for a total of 12 to 15 hours/week. Holidays are required if they fall on your normal workdays. Minimum age requirement of 18 years old to be considered for this role.

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required or willing to obtain upon hire (Immanuel will pay for training).
• For Cafeteria Duties, Cash Handling Experience Preferred.
