Immanuel Communities is seeking an Experienced Full-time Cook to work at Immanuel Village, located at 6803 North 68th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Immanuel Village has 99 independent living and 36 assisted living apartment homes.

Scheduled days and hours: 10:00am-6:30pm Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; 6:30am-2:30pm Sunday. Off Thursday and Friday. Some holidays required.

Position pays up to $19.68/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area.

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• One (1) year of cooking experience in a healthcare setting or in a restaurant setting above the level of fast food/fast casual is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain (Immanuel will pay for training).
• Minimum 18 years old required.
