As a Back Room Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in managing all back room processes to ensure the smooth flow of incoming and outgoing freight. You will be well-versed in back room policies and procedures, allowing you to handle product shipments with efficiency and precision. Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with all departments are crucial to maintaining our high standards of merchandising.

• Efficiently receive and stock merchandise to enhance productivity.
• Accurately process electronic purchase orders by verifying with vendor packing slips and documenting discrepancies.
• Handle electronic transfer documents, ensuring all item details are correct while noting any inconsistencies.
• Perform routine maintenance on the barcode ticket printer and ensure it is loaded properly.
• Print labels for various document types and handle miscellaneous barcode printing tasks.
• Effectively tag merchandise using the right tools and supplies.
• Conduct thorough inspections of footwear for defects and ensure proper pairing.
• Manage paperwork efficiently, maintaining proper documentation for all transactions.
• Organize and maintain the flow of back stock merchandise.
• Handle returns to vendors and manage non-returnable items appropriately.
• Ensure a clean and organized back room at all times.
• Report any receiving or shipping issues to the relevant parties.
• Assist in training and delegating tasks to stockers as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors to achieve company goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry objects regularly, up to 50 lbs.
• Strong comprehension skills for following instructions and interpreting documents.
• Ability to apply principles in a variety of complex tasks.
• Read and understand English fluently.
• Maintain focus and stay alert during work hours.
