Responsibilities
  • Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise appropriately to be put out on the sales floor
  • Restock merchandise on sales floor and bring product to the floor for display
  • Recover displays so customers can easily find product in a tidy and organized manner
  • Assist customers and salespeople with retrieving and loading purchased product
  • Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas
  • Perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as needed
  • Read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence; present information to customers and associates as required
  • Organize, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of support role
  • Work independently or with the team as needed
  • Exercise judgment and tact in working with all support levels
  • Use strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms
  • Show attention to detail

Schedule

This is a part time position and will be scheduled to fill and recover the sales floor. Typical shifts will include 5pm-9:30pm on weeknights, Saturdays between 8am-9:30pm and Sundays between 8:30am-7pm. Availability will need to include at least 2 shifts per week between 5pm-9:30pm and half the Saturdays/Sundays per month between 8:30am-9:30pm. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Average hours per week is 20 hours.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED, 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements & Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work – expect to lift heavier than 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly. Perform job duties in a manner that minimizes injury risk.
