About the PositionHP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Customer Sales Representative in your area! In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s). You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. You will be responsible for building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees.
Day‑in‑the‑Life- Demonstrate HP products at a big‑box retail store
- Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
- Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within assigned store
- Train retail store associates on HP products and services
- Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
- Report and provide competitive insights
- Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
- Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees
- Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
- Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
- Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs
- Advise customers by providing information on products and services
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
- Accurately document and report sales
- Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
- Keep workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times
- Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
