Overview
Your positive, friendly disposition and eagerness to get things done make you the right person for the Customer Service Associate II position. This is a part-time role that helps create an inviting shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily store operations from merchandising to customer support.
- Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely in accordance with productivity standards.
- Merchandise and restock items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
- Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
- Manage sales transactions using the assigned cash register.
- Secure cash and protect company assets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug‑store environment highly preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
- Physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
- Excellent customer service and relationship‑management skills required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required.
- High level of integrity required.
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.
