Job Summary

As a Parts Technician, you will work directly with customers and internal teams to support parts sales and service operations. Responsibilities include quoting and sourcing parts, managing orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Research and accurately quote pricing of parts.
  • Pick and pack customer orders and returns to factory.
  • Assist with inventory control to include cycle counts.
  • Assist at the back counter for parts required by customers.
  • Resolve any customer issues, problems, or complaints to satisfy the customer.
  • Follow policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Source parts if not available at dealership.
  • Prompt and accurate responses to parts availability inquiries at the counter, phone, and the service group.
  • Prompt and accurate ordering of forecasted and non-forecasted requirements for parts and service.
  • Processing parts work orders, invoicing, and credit memos in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the correct parts and correct quantity are ordered from the vendor.
  • Ensure that the parts arrive in a timely fashion according to urgency and timing of job completion.
  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering from vendors and invoicing to customers.
  • Work with supervisor to identify which items to stock, quantity needed, and storage location.
Job Requirements
  • Great interpersonal skills – At all times display honesty, ethics, and integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling parts and accessories.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to various tasks assigned.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
Working Conditions

Hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
