E-commerce Fulfillment Associate

Hy‑Vee’s E-commerce Fulfillment Associate prepares orders for online customers by accurately selecting ordered items via an automated selection system and manual inventory picking. The role is 18+ and requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Accurately selects groceries ordered via automated system
• Ensures equipment is operated in a safe manner
• Accurately selects ordered items via manual shopping in a timely manner
• Selects highest quality produce, meat and other fresh products
• Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones
• Organizes, stacks, and stages orders for store delivery
• Loads orders into trucks securely for store delivery
• Adheres to company policies and facility guidelines
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time

• Counts, merges, and consolidates inventory
• Stocks and re-packs inventory as directed
• Sorts and organizes equipment
• Cleans equipment and environment as directed
• Performs other job‑related duties and special projects as required

• Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
• Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, 10 pounds constantly, and 10 pounds continually to move objects
• Must be physically able to work intermittently in temperatures below 32 degrees F
• Must be able to perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. Continuous exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards and electrical shock. Constant pressure to meet deadlines. Fast‑paced work environment.

Order fulfillment applications and interfaces, pallet jack, box cutter, trash compactor, intercom, cardboard compactor.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
