Job Summary
This position is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, sorting, loading and unloading materials and performing various warehouse activities.
- Receive and process donated goods from public
- Offer and issue receipts to customers for donations in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers at assigned locations
- Bale, weigh, record and store salvage materials
- Responsible for inventory of gaylords and pallets
- Sort materials into proper containers ensuring each is labeled
- Pull recyclable materials from salvaged Outlet bins
- Identify end of life computers from those which can be refurbished
- Make decisions on product quality and assist in pricing items accordingly
- Inspect, hang, sort and tag clothing and donations in accordance with Goodwill Retail Operations Policy
- Assist in processing, pricing and distribution of hard lines
- Separate and band salvage shoes
- Assist with new goods inventory
- Ensure a steady flow of donated goods, supplies, and salvage carts are distributed to the retail stores
- Operate all equipment in a safe manner
- Assist with keeping the trucks, trailers, dock and warehouse orderly and safe
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants

- Perform material handling duties
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers at assigned locations

Education And/Or Experience- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe and clean work environment
