Description Sales Project Manager – Omaha, NE
Join our team as a Sales Project Manager based in Omaha, NE. You'll be responsible for making face to face sales calls, providing accurate quotes, and ensure outstanding customer service for the Council Bluffs to Des Moines territory.
Role OverviewSupport customer and project needs in the assigned region. Responsibilities include sales activities, defining project scope, monitoring progress, recommending products, coordinating with vendors, and meeting project goals. Prior experience in construction project management or coordination is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain customer relationships through sales calls
- Prepare accurate quotes and support business growth
- Deliver customer service and technical support
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Collaborate internally for order and delivery processing
- Track sales activity and manage documentation
- Work across sales, purchasing, operations, & management teams
- Prepare timely sales quotes and proposals
- Process orders, invoices, and contracts
- Provide technical assistance and organize documentation
- Promote products via marketing initiatives
- Maintain up-to‑date customer data in internal systems
- Record interactions and follow up to strengthen relationships
- Facilitate effective communication within departments
- Serve as main contact for customers
- Align objectives with leadership and teammates
- Participate in training and maintain industry knowledge
- Support special projects and identify process improvements
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree related to Business, Engineering, or Construction
- Proven sales success; 1-3 years’ relevant experience
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Construction industry knowledge preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Experience reading blueprints/building plans valued
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
