Sales Associate - Entry Level

Job Overview

We're actively seeking talented Sales Associates to join our Sales Associate team in Omaha, NE. You will support the Consumer Markets Division (CMD) sales team, assisting advisors by making outbound prospecting calls and appointment calls to advisors of specific Field Wholesaler/Internal Wholesaler teams. You will also support department interns and shadow internal wholesalers to learn how to sell our products to clients.

• Assist advisors by providing support to the Wholesaling Teams.
• Make outbound prospecting/cross-selling, campaign and appointment calls to advisors at the direction of specific Field Wholesaler/Internal Wholesaler teams.
• Provide overall support to the department interns.
• Shadow Internal Wholesalers to gain understanding of how to become successful in selling our products to our client base.

• Must be willing and able to obtain FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam (SIE), Series 6/7, and Series 63 license within 90 days of starting the position.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build relationships over the phone.
• Ability to prospect for leads and follow up on them.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Interest in annuity and mutual funds strongly preferred.
• College degree strongly preferred.

The base pay range for this role is $22.45-$27.45 per hour. Pay will vary by location and level (Level I or II). Additional incentive pay may be earned.
