Sales Representative - Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota - Smart Care

Job Overview

As a Sales Representative, you will promote and sell Stryker’s Smart Care solutions to hospitals and healthcare providers. The Smart Care Platform includes hands‑free wearables, the Engage intelligent workflow engine, smartphone applications, and care.ai. The goal is to simplify and improve the lives of healthcare professionals, patients, and families while helping hospitals enhance quality of care and operational efficiency.

• Promote and sell Smart Care products to meet customers’ needs in sales or clinical IT settings.
• Identify, qualify, and close new customer sales opportunities in a designated territory.
• Plan and implement effective territory sales strategy to progress deals through the process.
• Forecast and maintain a pipeline to support quota achievement quarter over quarter.
• Advance opportunities efficiently and with urgency through the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain executive and key customer relationships, including with C-suite leaders.
• Conduct solution-focused customer presentations, coordinating necessary internal team members.
• Ensure positive communication and collaboration with key internal partners and teams.

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Solid understanding of communication technology trends and industry dynamics in healthcare.
• Executive presence and influencing skills; excellent negotiation and ability to close sales.
• Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles of six months or longer with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas.

• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• May be required to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, or crawling as appropriate.
• Requires coordination of eye, hand, and foot movements, visual and auditory discrimination, reading ability, and memory retention.
• May handle various materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components of rubber, metals, and coated products.
• May require COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function for some roles.

Annual salary range: $100,000 - $105,000. Eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses and benefits.

• Travel required:
  
  50% of the time.

• Remote – Role allows majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.
• Field-based – Majority to 100% of time at customer facilities with a set territory or travel boundary.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility.
• Hybrid – Work both in an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility; onsite expectations defined by manager.
