Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program

This role is part of the Accelerated Sales Program for sales professionals to develop outside sales skills over a 6‑12‑month period.

• Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
• Prepares and executes account plans.
• Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
• Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Enters and processes customer orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Operates a company or personal vehicle for more than 80% of the average work week; may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report and acceptable MVR is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members.
• Requires strong self‑governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
• Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
• Goal‑oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
• Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
• Spanish language proficiency.
