Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

Retail Sales Associate – Mobile (CCI). Work in a Cox retail environment with flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
• Assist with opening, closing, and day‑to‑day operations of the retail location.
• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations.
• Support fellow sales agents as needed.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competing offerings through regular training.
• Be willing to work other nearby locations as required.

Hourly base pay ranges from $15.29 to $22.88, depending on location and experience. The role also offers an annual incentive/commission target of $15,348, with high earners potentially reaching over $65,735. A full‑time hourly base of $17.00 plus monthly targeted commissions may result in a total compensation totaling $50,708 on average, with a variable target of $24.38/hr.

• Minimum:
  High school diploma or GED. Up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; consultative, solutions‑based selling.
• Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Mobile within the store for long periods; lift 25–50 pounds.
• Computer literate and quick to learn new technology.
• Flexible schedule: weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Preferred:
  Two years of college coursework in sales, business, or management.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience in sales or retail.
• Preferred:
  Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
• Preferred:
  Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
