Job Summary
Are you currently selling Class 8 equipment and tired of variable commission based on margin and retail hours? Werner Fleet Truck Sales offers a flat rate commission structure and 6-figure earning potential. Responsibilities include selling Class 8 vehicles to the general public, other transportation companies and current Werner drivers, generating leads, and managing all aspects of the sale.
Responsibilities- Marketing Werner Enterprises’ used tractors and trailers by identifying and developing a customer base within previously structured demographics.
- Maintaining the monthly sales objectives set by management.
- Communicating with the Director and/or Sales Manager of Fleet Truck Sales in a method appropriate for the purpose of discussing the daily business and any other situations.
- Ensuring that all equipment is prepared for sale and meets the established condition parameters.
- Maintaining a professional appearing sales facility, including the fleet truck sales office and display area for equipment prepared for sale.
- Collaborating with Werner Maintenance to assist in the reconditioning process and prioritize as required.
- Developing and maintaining working relationships with area vendors involved in reconditioning.
- Monitoring the reconditioning process, tracking daily time required with every vendor and monitoring the quality of the work.
- Assisting in the transportation of equipment from the terminal location to varied vendor locations as required.
- Maintaining the necessary paperwork and dealer license requirements for the location the person is working.
- Performing related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
