In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts in all lines of business, including service and installation solutions for new and/or existing customers.

Prospects and develops new client relationships within a defined geography and in line with identified priorities.

Develops and increases Key and National Account relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities.

Job requires 20% field-based work with 80% office-based responsibilities. You will be required to be in the office for the first 90 days for training and other activities.

Responsibilities
  • Sales: sells core business integrated solutions for service and installation projects. Evaluates and targets potential customer opportunities within the marketplace. Develops and implements sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets (e.g., education, health care, industrial, and commercial buildings). Focuses on consultants, owners, and building managers, with support from contractor business, to develop new business clientele.
  • Account Development: Responsible for selling to dedicated accounts, the continuum of physical security integration services, cyber, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services as needed to increase customer lifetime value, profitability, and inoculate against competitive threats.
  • Develop Pipeline: Work with real decision-makers to assess the need, gain agreement on a business case, explain why we are uniquely qualified, and set a decision time frame.
    Expected results: Pipeline is 3:1 over target.
  • Proposal Construction: Leading the sales pursuit team to construct winning proposals.
    Expected Results: Proposals include the quote, business case, and why we are uniquely qualified.
  • Presenting & Closing: Present proposals to decision-makers while managing objections to timing, price, and competition.
    Expected Results: Final negotiations result in timely go/no‑go decisions.
  • Market Focus: Identify and develop a pipeline specific to the assigned market(s). Markets include global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, federal, state, and local governments, K‑12 & higher education.
    Expected results: The pipeline reflects opportunities in the assigned market(s).
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Collaborate with designers/estimators, sales engineers, subject matter experts, program/project managers, and partners as needed to create and deliver winning proposals.
    Expected results: Business case and technical solution result in winning proposals.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
