Leasing Consultant, Multifamily Apple Creek Apartments
As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an important role with the onsite management team at Apple Creek Apartments, a multifamily community dedicated to providing welcoming service to visitors, prospects, and residents. The role involves meeting leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, while delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities- Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects, answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
- Highlight the quality of the community and apartment lifestyle to drive leasing.
- Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by gathering appropriate information and initiating background checks.
- Prepare apartments for move‑in and ensure they are ready for residents.
- Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations and maintain retention.
- Use attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to rentals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
- Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.
- Be courteous and professional.
- Be well organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Be professional and a team player.
High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
1+ years of related experience.
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, or step stools, and travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions. Approximately 85% of the time may involve sitting or standing;
travel may vary up to 5% of the time.
Compensation: $15.30 - $18.00 per hour; pay will vary based on location, experience, and market rates. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible and health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
