Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for soliciting insurance by telephoning prospective clients.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain operations by following company policies and procedures.
- Call prospective clients using telephone and computer programs.

- Language Ability
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Math Ability
- Calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens and hundreds.
- Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Reasoning Ability
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
- Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
- Average typing speed of 65 to 75 WPM.
- Education / Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, talk or hear. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift or move up to five pounds. Requires close vision.
