7-Day Furniture is looking for energetic, courteous, professional, and highly motivated salespeople. Bilingual in Spanish is a must.

This position is a commission based position; an average full‑time sales associate should expect to earn $45,000 to $70,000 in their first year.

General

Summary:

This role provides merchandise expertise to customers who need to place an order, obtain dimensions, pricing, and information on financing options.

• Responsible for providing courteous and professional customer service.
• Responsible for the preparation of sales tickets and sold tags in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding out‑of‑stock situations and replenishment time frames using our Profit System database.
• Explain financing options to increase our customers’ purchase power.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant work area at the sales desk and on the sales floor.
• Support and uphold company policy.
• Must speak Spanish fluently.

• Knowledge of the furniture industry (we train staff on product knowledge).
• Knowledge of retail sales and operations.
• Skill operating a personal computer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Works well in a team environment.

High school education or equivalent. One year of experience in a customer service/retail environment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 - $75,000 per year. Top earners will make over $100,000 per year.
