The RoleIntegrated MSP is looking for a Business Development Representative to support new business growth in the Omaha market.
The BDR will be responsible for prospecting, outreach, booking qualified first‑time appointments, running initial discovery calls, and qualifying leads before passing them further into the sales process. This person will use Apollo to support lead generation and outbound activity. The expectation is the BDR builds their own lists (not working from lists provided or generated elsewhere) and is committed to high‑volume calling.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow in IT services sales. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the office in Omaha.
Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, email, phone, Linked In, Apollo, referrals, and local market activity
- Book qualified first‑time appointments and discovery calls
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs, timing, pain points, and fit
- Qualify leads before moving them further into the sales process
- Research target accounts and contacts to support personalized outreach
- Maintain accurate activity, lead notes, pipeline updates, and follow‑up tasks in the CRM
- Partner with leadership and the sales team to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy
- Follow up consistently with prospects to build interest and keep opportunities moving
- Learn Integrated MSP’s services, value proposition, ideal client profile, and sales process
- Meet and exceed activity, appointment‑setting, and qualified lead goals
- B2B sales, SDR, BDR, appointment setting, or outbound prospecting experience preferred
- Strong phone, email, Linked In, and general outbound prospecting skills
- Comfortable making cold calls and starting conversations with business decision‑makers
- Ability to ask good discovery questions and qualify leads based on need, fit, timing, and interest
- Coachable, self‑motivated, and interested in growing within sales
- Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
- Comfortable using sales tools and CRM systems to manage activity
- Experience with Apollo or similar lead generation tools is a plus
- Interest in managed IT services, cybersecurity, technology, or consultative B2B sales
- Base salary expected around $60,000, with $65,000 at the top end depending on experience. First year OTE expected to be around $90,000–$100,000
