Position:
Trades Specialist – Omaha, NE

Virtual employee on the Commercial Construction field sales team, covering the Kansas City, MO territory.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve top-line sales targets by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER CABLE brands to end‑user customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners through product and services solutions and management of CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs.
  • Teach and mentor the local market team on end‑user development, including identifying contacts, understanding purchasing processes, and aligning efforts with local market teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and use  as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and failures in a timely fashion to improve processes and future opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results and experience selling to high‑level executives, C‑Suite, and jobsite directors.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
  • Valid Driver’s License and physical ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Target cash compensation range: $84,000.00 – $. Compensation may vary based on job level, location, skills, and experience. The role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission, and the total target cash compensation includes base salary and variable cash compensation.
