Application Sales Representative
Conductix-Wampfler is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Application Sales Representative to join our Omaha team! In this role, you’ll help customers find the right product solutions, prepare quotes, and provide technical support—all while building strong relationships and delivering top-notch service.

SummaryThe Application Sales Representative works with customers and prospects, primarily by telephone and e‑mail, to develop appropriate product specifications and quotations; work through product‑specific issues for Conductix‑Wampfler products. The Application Sales Representative (ASR) associates closely with other members of SMO Americas, the outside sales force, and the COEs to ensure customer satisfaction.
As an internal point of contact for customers and prospects, the ASR determines customers’ requirements and quotes the appropriate solution. The ASR must know multiple products well enough to determine and quote solutions for a variety of basic applications.
A large percentage of system quotes created by the ASR will be completed with the use of Quick Quote, but the ASR also has the opportunity to quote straightforward engineered systems using other methods.
The ASR must handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, remain extremely well‑organized, and take the initiative to complete assigned tasks while providing exceptional customer service and cultivating strong relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary Duties- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all products CX‑WA USA offers and the applications in which they are used.
- Determine product needs and develop both part and system quotations in response to customer requests.
- Provide technical information (e.g., drawings) relating to quotations and customer requests.
- Stay abreast of major quotations and work with outside sales force, Market Development Manager, or others as needed to win business.
- Handle day‑to‑day customer requests, such as providing price and availability, and determining the status of quotes, orders, and shipments.
- Enter customer complaints/concerns immediately upon learning of them.
- Initiate involvement by technical personnel for more complex issues or product failures.
- Generate Engineering Requests for activities such as the creation of new part numbers and bills of materials.
- Routinely update customer records in Navpoint during and following customer interactions.
- Reschedule orders with manufacturing.
- Support the Quality and EHS policy.

Travel is infrequent but may be required for trade shows or visits to customers’ facilities or job sites.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one‑year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
