About the RoleThe Franchise Development Manager owns the candidate journey from first conversation to franchise award. You will qualify prospective franchisees, guide them through our Discovery Process, and ensure every candidate who moves forward is financially ready, operationally aligned, and genuinely excited about the mission.
This role requires someone who is consultative and disciplined — someone who can build trust quickly, present with confidence, and manage a pipeline without letting deals stall. You will report directly to the Director of Franchise Development and play a key role in shaping the future of our franchise network.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Omaha, NE.
What You'll Do- Manage prospective franchise candidates through the full Discovery Process with urgency and professionalism
- Conduct structured qualification conversations to assess financial readiness, operational fit, and cultural alignment
- Deliver compelling presentations on our business model, operations, FDD, and territory opportunities
- Maintain thorough and accurate candidate documentation in the CRM after every interaction
- Build and nurture relationships with franchise consultant networks and referral partners
- Represent A Place At Home at industry conferences and events, traveling 2–8 times per year
- Support franchisee onboarding and training to ensure long‑term alignment with our values and vision
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve lead quality and development strategy
- 3+ years of sales experience; franchise sales experience is a strong plus
- Experience in lead generation and pipeline management
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and a sales CRM (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Passion for senior care and alignment with the "We are CARE" philosophy
- Self‑motivated, coachable, and eager to grow within the role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Full‑time, on‑site in Omaha, NE — not remote or hybrid
- Ability to travel 2–8 times per year for conferences, consultant meetings, and Discovery Days
