Overview
Seeking a driven hospital sales professional with strong clinical acumen and experience working within complex health systems. This individual will be responsible for growing territory performance, building relationships with key stakeholders, navigating hospital access pathways, and driving product utilization across targeted accounts within a multi-state region.
Key Responsibilities- Own territory performance by executing strategic business plans and achieving sales goals across targeted hospital and health system accounts.
- Promote hospital-based pharmaceutical products through clinical discussions, presentations, and education with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and key decision-makers.
- Navigate formulary approval processes and drive product adoption by building strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders and influential advocates.
- Partner cross-functionally to address customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and maximize account performance.
- Manage territory operations through business planning, forecasting, reporting, budget management, and ongoing industry and clinical education.
- Minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sales experience.
- Hospital, specialty pharmaceutical, institutional, critical care, acute care, IDN, or health-system sales experience required
- Experience calling on Cardio, Cath Lab, and/or Nurology highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong track record of sales performance and territory management.
- Experience presenting clinical and scientific information to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
