The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within CHIPD’s target verticals, including Healthcare, Kitchen & Bath, Flooring, and related sectors. The Business Development Manager will prospect and qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, deliver sales presentations, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and close.
The role involves collaborating with internal teams to tailor payment solutions, preparing proposals, tracking pipeline activity, and reporting on sales performance. The Business Development Manager will also maintain and grow existing client relationships, attend industry events, and provide ongoing feedback to support product and process improvements.
- Strong business development and B2B sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
- Experience with payment processing, financial services, or technology solutions, preferably in Healthcare or other key CHIPD verticals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex payment solutions in clear, customer-focused terms.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships, with a focus on customer experience and ethical, trust-based selling.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic data analysis to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and inform sales strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Omaha, NE, with occasional travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
