As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Omaha, NE
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that can help to discourage incidents, and support access control and badge checks. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors.

What You ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, observe transactions areas and other sensitive spaces for unusual activity, and complete required reports and/or logs per location procedures.
  • Assist with access control activities such as verifying identification, directing visitors and/or vendors, and communicating location rules and expectations in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
