Engineer RoleEngineer - Must have a Third Grade Engineer License from the City of Omaha (Boiler Certification). This position would be perfect for a retired engineer, looking to work again for extra income, without all the stress of a regular Engineer position. The pay is $24.50 as per the contract and is NOT negotiable. Looking for a candidate to start immediately.
- This position is required to monitor equipment (boilers, temperatures, pressures, water pumps, fans, air handlers) and troubleshoot when needed by contacting the on-call Facilities manager.
- They may perform the needed repairs themselves or utilize face time to have the manager walk them through the process.
- If they are unable to fix it then the manager will contact another vendor to come in and complete the repairs.
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner - Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. What You ll Do- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
