The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator serves as the central point of contact for physical security operations across FNBO facilities. This position is responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating emergency response, assisting with access control, and ensuring the safety and security of bank personnel, customers, and assets through vigilant surveillance and timely incident response.
About This Role Security Monitoring & Surveillance- Monitor alarm systems, CCTV cameras, and access control systems across multiple FNBO locations
- Identify and assess security threats, suspicious activity, and safety hazards in real-time
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and determine appropriate response protocols
- Maintain continuous awareness of security incidents and operational status across all monitored facilities
- Serve as primary liaison with local emergency services (police, fire, EMS)
- Coordinate emergency response activities and provide critical information to first responders
- Execute emergency notification procedures and escalation protocols
- Monitor and track emergency situations until resolution
- Dispatch security officers to incidents, alarm activations, and service requests
- Provide real-time support and guidance to security personnel in the field
- Assist with processing access control requests and badge activations/deactivations
- Coordinate building access for after-hours personnel and vendors
- Respond to access-related issues
- Coordinate vendor access to facilities for service calls and installations
- Monitor vendor activity through surveillance systems
- Escalate urgent maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
- Maintain professional communication with employees, management, and external partners
- Prepare detailed shift reports documenting all activities and incidents
- Brief incoming shift personnel on ongoing situations and pending issues
- Provide timely updates to management regarding significant events
- Maintain logs and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong decision-making abilities, especially under pressure
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- College degree in related field (security management, criminal justice, emergency management, etc.) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in security operations, dispatch, or related field preferred
- Experience with security monitoring systems and CCTV operations preferred
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
CompensationCompensation range (base pay): $41,116.00-$65,787.00
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
