Under minimal supervision, safely and efficiently backfill and compact pipe trench to specifications, changing/properly using compaction attachments as required

• Ability to work hourly full time, generally 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays
• More/less hours may be required based on weather conditions and project demands
• Winter layoff may occur annually

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum of at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work according to Roloff Construction's core values:

• Minimum of one year experience working in an excavator
• Physical Requirements:
  • Sit for long periods of time
  • Get out of equipment and assist ground personnel as needed
  • Climb up and down ladders
  • Be able to see (naturally or with correction)

• Experience operating an excavator in the underground utility construction industry preferred
• High school education or equivalent preferred
