Description: If you're looking to get to work ASAP and have experience with outdoor construction or landscaping, this is the opportunity for you! A major project site is looking for laborers to work closely with equipment operators in tight spaces to ensure safety and smooth workflow. You will be trained on proper hand signals, provided with a radio for communication, and periodically given opportunities to train on support equipment such as compactors, skid steers, and street sweepers.
This role does involve a lot of standing and monitoring, but it’s an excellent foot in the door with long‑term growth potential.

Responsibilities- Work directly with equipment operators in tight environments to prevent equipment from striking structures or underground utilities.
- Learn and use hand signals and two-way radio communication for operator guidance.
- Stand for long periods while monitoring equipment movement for safety.
- Periodically support with equipment such as street sweepers, compactors, and skid steers for training purposes.
- Use a shovel to move dirt and debris from tight or congested areas as needed.
- 1+ year of outdoor construction, landscaping, or related labor experience.
- Physically able to use a shovel and perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
- Ability to stay alert, attentive, and focused for extended periods.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly with operators using radios and hand signals.
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety.
Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
