OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Contracted Maintenance Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, experience and skill using power tools, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities. This person will also have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license to drive the company vehicle.
- Replace burned out light bulbs in common areas and entrances
- Address plumbing problems
- Clean light lens covers, interior and exterior
- Walk roofs to collect debris, report damage (and coordinate with the responsible HVAC contractor)
- Use webster to remove cobwebs in the corners
- Clean & sweep vacant bays & any interior common spaces
- Dust store front signs
- Schedule and assist with HVAC checkups and filter changes
- Coordinate storefront inspections and schedule security/sprinkler/fire extinguisher checks and other inspections
- Reset thermostats for current temperatures
- In winter, clear snow & ice from all walks (storefront and perimeter) and apply ice-melt
- Work with landscaping/mowing/snow vendors
- Schedule parking lot patching, crack filling, and lot striping
- Replace any damaged ceiling tile
- Coordinate check up of exterior parking lot lights
- Apply insecticide and set mouse traps as needed
- Apply new safety paint to areas as needed (handicap areas, curbs, etc.)
- Paint railings and poles
- Reset parking lot light timers to match sunrise/sunset
- Open/Close sprinkler system to match the season
- Attention to detail and general surroundings

- Ability to take initiative and work independently sometimes, but also able to take and follow directions
- Some hands-on/technical skills with figuring out how to do minor repairs
- Basic Electrical Skills
