Contracted Maintenance Solutions - Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Contracted Maintenance Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, experience and skill using power tools, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities. This person will also have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license to drive the company vehicle.

• Replace burned out light bulbs in common areas and entrances
• Address plumbing problems
• Clean light lens covers, interior and exterior
• Walk roofs to collect debris, report damage (and coordinate with the responsible HVAC contractor)
• Use webster to remove cobwebs in the corners
• Clean & sweep vacant bays & any interior common spaces
• Dust store front signs
• Schedule and assist with HVAC checkups and filter changes
• Coordinate storefront inspections and schedule security/sprinkler/fire extinguisher checks and other inspections
• Reset thermostats for current temperatures
• In winter, clear snow & ice from all walks (storefront and perimeter) and apply ice-melt
• Work with landscaping/mowing/snow vendors
• Schedule parking lot patching, crack filling, and lot striping
• Replace any damaged ceiling tile
• Coordinate check up of exterior parking lot lights
• Apply insecticide and set mouse traps as needed
• Apply new safety paint to areas as needed (handicap areas, curbs, etc.)
• Paint railings and poles
• Reset parking lot light timers to match sunrise/sunset
• Open/Close sprinkler system to match the season
