Heavy Equipment Operator

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trenchers for underground utility projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise and accurate work.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and crew members to meet deadlines.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes to excavate, grade, and compact earth within specified parameters.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Work with the construction team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and job site personnel.

• Proven 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator of excavators, skid steer loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other earthmoving equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years.
• Willingness to travel from time to time if the project requires.

Hourly Pay: $39.50 per hour (Full Time + OT).
