Diesel​/Heavy Equipment Technician

• Full time Position with day hours - Monday - Friday!

Here's what you'll do:

• Diagnostic repair and maintenance of a wide variety of construction equipment including, but not limited to lifts, mini excavators, generators, construction tools and miscellaneous equipment
• Maintain paperwork for work orders

Here's what you'll need to be successful:

• Vocational or technical education in mechanics, machine tool technology or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience heavy equipment repair and maintenance preferred
• Mechanical ability and knowledge

Physical Capabilities Required:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Operate hand and power tools and other specialized equipment
• Adequate vision to read small print and work with intricate parts and equipment
• Sufficient hearing for sounds and signals from equipment to detect and diagnose problems
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Rapid City store hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm;
Saturday 8am - noon.
