What you will do
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical fire alarm life safety product lines and similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.
- Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base.
- Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools provided.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs.
- Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Self‑starter who can work with little or no supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
- Physical capability to perform labor required by the role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Obtain NICET Level
I certification within 1 year of employment. - Basic computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook – and smartphone skills.
Hourly rate: $17.36 – $23.84 (based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; internal equity and market alignment). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
