Data Center Cabling Technician

Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (50 hrs/week)

Omaha, NE
Seeking a hands‑on Cabling Technician with 1+ years of experience to support structured cabling installations in and around data center environments. This role focuses on cable installation, dressing, labeling, testing, and network buildouts.
Key Responsibilities- Install structured cabling (OSP/ISP, rack & stack, patching, fiber, CAT5/6)
- Run, dress, label, test, and terminate copper and fiber cabling
- Perform rough‑in fiber, final dressing, and pathway installation
- Hang cable, manage materials, and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret drawings, specs, and cut sheets
- Perform testing and troubleshooting using fiber/copper testers
- Support network equipment buildouts and rack installations
- 1+ years of cabling experience required
- Data center experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow standards
- Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to work in tight/confined spaces - Must maintain consistent, on‑time attendance
This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 – $34.00/hr.
