Job Summary

This position requires a construction-minded individual who can travel to sports venues across the country and install large diameter poles, hang cables and netting, and any other material necessary for the project. The role involves working with a dedicated team of sports construction technicians, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proper use of hand and power tools
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work on feet for 8 hours
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Must show up on time
  • Ability to read a tape measure and level
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to keep it in satisfactory working condition
  • Know and use tools and equipment related to fencing
  • Learn blueprint readings
  • Learn the difference in concrete and terminology
  • Learn how to load a trailer safely
  • Maintain clean tools and vehicles
  • First Aid / CPR / AED Certified
  • OSH 10 (Preferred)
  • Travel approximately 75% of the time
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to meet physical requirements: prolonged standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in heat, cold, dust, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Willing to work Monday to Friday with weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools
  • Ability to learn/operate heavy equipment, e.g., skid loader, telescoping boom lift
