Facilities Maintenance Technician

What You’ll Do

• Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs across building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and proactively address issues before they disrupt operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and facility equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Handle general repairs and upkeep, including drywall, painting, carpentry, and fixture replacement.
• Maintain and repair lighting, outlets, switches, and minor electrical systems.
• Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, and hardware to ensure security and functionality.
• Assist with workspace reconfigurations, including office furniture and modular systems.
• Partner with and support external contractors working onsite.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including mechanical rooms and shops.
• Respond to on‑call needs and facility emergencies as part of a shared rotation.

• 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related mechanical field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction trades.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve problems independently.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively without constant supervision.
• A team‑first mindset with solid communication skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and best practices (OSHA awareness).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
