What You’ll Do
- Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs across building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and proactively address issues before they disrupt operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and facility equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
- Handle general repairs and upkeep, including drywall, painting, carpentry, and fixture replacement.
- Maintain and repair lighting, outlets, switches, and minor electrical systems.
- Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs.
- Repair and maintain doors, locks, and hardware to ensure security and functionality.
- Assist with workspace reconfigurations, including office furniture and modular systems.
- Partner with and support external contractors working onsite.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including mechanical rooms and shops.
- Respond to on‑call needs and facility emergencies as part of a shared rotation.
- 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related mechanical field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction trades.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve problems independently.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively without constant supervision.
- A team‑first mindset with solid communication skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and best practices (OSHA awareness).
- Dependable, adaptable, and take ownership of your work.
- Notice small issues before they become big problems.
- Comfortable working both independently and with a team.
- Willing to pitch in wherever needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional after‑hours or emergency response.
