HVAC Service Technician

A-1 United Heating and Air Conditioning, an employee‑owned company and one of the largest and most decorated Lennox dealers in the country, is seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Commission is also available for qualified sales leads.

• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled
• Consult with customers to determine their needs
• Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
• Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues
• Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to customers
• Maintain accurate records of customer appointments and transactions
• Manage inventory of equipment and HVAC resources

• 3-5 years of HVAC experience preferred
• Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
• Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school preferred
• Previous on-the-job training a plus
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain complex HVAC issues to customers
• Problem‑solving skills
• Valid state driver’s license
• Punctuality and ability to adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Commission is also available for qualified sales leads.
