Heavy Equipment Mechanic, General Labor
Heavy equipment mechanic is needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to make repairs on equipment/vehicles and perform general maintenance. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to:
Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI).
Position is full time, hours and amount of overtime are negotiable. Full time applicants should have their own tools and a valid driver’s license. Ability to work on a wide range of equipment/vehicles is a necessity. Looking for experience with CASE, CAT, John Deere & Komatsu equipment. Excavators, Compactors, Dozers, Wheel Loaders, Semi’s, Trucks, Tractors and any other construction equipment you can think of.
Able to work on Ford, Kenworth and many other DOT pickups/trucks/trailers. Cummins, CAT, and Detroit engines. Having welding experience and a CDL is beneficial but not necessarily required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language.
Pay varies depending on previous experience.
