Overview

We are hiring glass installers for residential and commercial glazing to work in our residential and storefront divisions at Quality Glass and Mirror Service. We are a high growth, market leader in glass fabrication and installation in the greater Omaha Area. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass and glazing systems. You will work closely with our team and our customers to install glass products of the highest quality with professionalism of the highest level.

This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results - our name is our reputation, and we take Quality seriously.

Responsibilities
  • Measure and install glass panels, windows, doors, and other glass components according to specifications.
  • Repair and replace damaged glass and glazing systems, including glass doors, storefronts, skylights, and mirrors.
  • Handle glass with care, ensuring proper safety measures are followed during installation and transportation.
  • Operate hand and power tools, such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and suction cups, to carry out installation and glazing tasks.
  • Prepare surfaces, apply sealants, adhesives, and caulks to ensure proper weatherproofing and insulation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Glazier, Glass Installer, or similar role in the glass and glazing industry.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot glass-related issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of glass, including tempered, laminated, insulated, and decorative glass.
  • Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing glass using various techniques and tools.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
