NCS is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Maintenance / Facilities Technician to support commercial and facility maintenance customers throughout the Omaha area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, handyman, building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general facilities experience who is looking to grow their skills with a company that invests in training and development.

In this role, you'll perform routine facility maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) services while helping customers keep their buildings operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Inspect building systems and identify potential issues
• Change filters, belts, batteries, and other routine maintenance components
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building-related issues
• Document work performed using company software and mobile technology
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow company safety procedures and processes
• Assist with additional facility service tasks as assigned

Required:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as required
• Basic computer and smartphone skills

Preferred:

• Facilities maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience
• Preventive maintenance experience
• Commercial building experience
• Trade school, technical training, or industry certifications
