Essential Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Foreman in specified skill or equivalent combinations of training and related experience
- Sets a high standard to be followed for Turner and Client Safety Policies and Procedures
- Projects clear expectations to all employees under his/her supervision
- Proficient in the craft he/she is supervising
- Obtains excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Preferred to have NCCER craft certifications and leadership certifications such as NCCER Crew Leader or Turner Leadership Training
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Interprets blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal orders; estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job; assigns duties, lines up and follows up all work and is responsible for production of the unit; inspects work to ensure adherence to company standards; trains and assists workers in the performance of their duties; supervises and coordinates activities of assigned construction workers; interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations;
establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel; analyzes and resolves work related problems; implements project safety programs; may maintain time, production, and other records; may study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job; may make cost estimates for contracts; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical InvolvementMay be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.;
standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment.
