Wiring Technician - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Wiring Technician - 1st Shift to join the Omaha, NE site.

Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour.

Shift hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm.

• Measure and prepare wire bundles for installation
• Reference wiring diagrams to establish proper connections
• Use hand tools to tighten and prepare wire and complete final installation
• Present clean crisp lines on all wiring in alignment with established guidelines
• Be willing to learn and assist other departments as necessary
• Perform point-to-point wiring of various electrical components within our products referencing blueprints and utilizing hand tools to prepare wire, crimp, and connect to terminals

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Eaton will not consider applicants for immigration sponsorship or support for this position
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates must reside within 50 mile radius (Active-Duty Military exempt)

• Perform other tasks as requested and be flexible to move to other areas
• Able to stand, climb, and utilize ladders for up to 8 hours a day
• Comfortable with hand tools including measuring tape, crimpers, snips, wire strippers, pin welder
