Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day maintenance of a residential community. This role is responsible for ensuring apartments, building systems, and common areas are safe, clean, and operating efficiently while delivering excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs.
- Complete resident work orders promptly and professionally.
- Conduct apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
- Maintain property grounds and common areas.
- Troubleshoot building systems and resolve maintenance issues.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs.
- Document and track work orders using property management systems.
- Experience in apartment, facilities, or property maintenance.
- Strong HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
- Customer-service mindset and professionalism.
- Own basic hand tools.
- Willingness to work on-call as required.
- Multifamily property maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of boiler/chiller systems.
- Familiarity with property management software

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
