Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
$25–$29 per hour | Up to $35 per hour for advanced robotics, PLC, and automation experience
Are you an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical equipment?
We are seeking a hands‑on 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to support production uptime, equipment reliability, and facility maintenance within a stable, fast‑paced manufacturing operation in Omaha.
What You’ll Do:- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment and facility systems
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Diagnose issues involving CNC machinery, PLCs, VFDs, motors, controls, and automated equipment
- Work with low‑voltage controls and single‑ and three‑phase AC/DC electrical systems up to 480 volts
- Complete preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
- Read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Fabricate or repair components using welding, cutting, grinding, machining, and related equipment
- Document work orders, repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activity through a CMMS
- Support facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, lighting, plumbing, and power distribution
- Follow Lockout/Tagout, PPE, hot‑work, equipment‑guarding, and other established safety procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field preferred
- At least five years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands‑on training
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, CNC machinery, PLCs, and VFDs
- Robotics, automation, or light programming experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work overtime, occasional weekends, holidays, or adjusted schedules when required
- Willingness to travel between nearby company facilities for projects, training, or maintenance support
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, urgency, and problem‑solving ability
