We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day maintenance of a residential community. This role is responsible for ensuring apartments, building systems, and community grounds are maintained efficiently.

Location:

Omaha, NE

Pay: $25–$35/hr

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to help keep our residential community running smoothly. If you have experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance, this is a great opportunity to join a stable team with competitive pay.

What you'll do:

• Perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and work orders
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and unit turnovers
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs
• Update and track work orders through maintenance software

What you need:

• Experience in apartment, facility, or property maintenance
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Own basic hand tools
• Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule

Preferred qualifications:

• Multifamily/apartment maintenance experience
• Knowledge of boiler and chiller systems
• Familiarity with property management software

This is a contract to hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
