Position

Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on Window Blind Installer / Project Lead to lead commercial installation projects throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and surrounding markets.

This individual will split time between installing commercial window treatments and leading projects in the field. The ideal candidate has experience working for a commercial subcontractor, understands construction jobsites, can communicate effectively with General Contractors and Superintendents, and enjoys taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

This position offers a clear path into Project Management and future operational leadership as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Install commercial blinds, shades, shutters, and window treatment systems
  • Lead installation crews on active commercial construction projects
  • Read blueprints, shop drawings, and project plans
  • Coordinate directly with General Contractors and Superintendents
  • Schedule crews, deliveries, and installation activities
  • Manage material organization and jobsite logistics
  • Walk punch lists and drive projects through completion
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
  • Travel throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and other project locations as needed
  • Remain hands-on while serving as the field leader
Qualifications Required
  • Commercial construction jobsite experience
  • Experience with commercial installation or skilled trades
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
  • Experience leading crews or acting as a working foreman
  • Comfortable communicating directly with General Contractors
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • OSHA 10 Certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work from ladders/lifts

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 DOE
  • Annual performance bonus (up to 10%)

Travel
  • Based out of Omaha / Lincoln, Nebraska
  • Approximately 50% travel
