We are seeking motivated
* Cable Technicians
* with at least
* 1 year of structured cabling experience
* to support a large-scale project in the Omaha area. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills, work in a data center environment, and gain experience on a high-profile infrastructure project.

The ideal candidate will have experience with copper and/or fiber installations, cable terminations, testing, labeling, and cable management.

• * Install, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling
• * Install cable trays and pathways
• * Terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot CAT5, CAT6, and fiber cabling
• * Perform patching, rack and stack, and network equipment installations
• * Support fiber rough-in, final dressing, and documentation activities
• * Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, and specifications
• * Utilize copper and fiber testing equipment to verify cable performance
• * Maintain job site organization, material management, and housekeeping
• * Follow all customer security and safety requirements
• * Work collaboratively with team members to complete project milestones

• * Minimum
  * 1 year of cabling experience*
• * * Experience with:*
• * * CAT5/CAT6 cabling*
• * Cable installation and cable dressing
• * Termination and testing
• * Patch panels and punch-downs
• * Structured cabling systems
• * Copper cabling installations
• * Cable tray installation
• * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces when necessary
• * Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

• * Fiber optic installation and testing experience
• * Fusion splicing experience
• * OTDR testing experience
• * OSP and ISP cabling experience
• * Data center experience

• * Data center setting
• * Active construction and telecommunications environment
• * Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Omaha,NE.
