Tire Technician
Join our team as a Tire Technician, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including tire balancing, installation, and repairs. You will also conduct routine tire rotations, mount and dismount tires, and stack them as necessary. In this role, you will work on trucks and be involved in changing brakes, oil, and tires, particularly on trucks used for transporting livestock and other materials.
Responsibilities- Balance, install, and repair tires.
- Perform routine tire rotations.
- Mount and dismount tires.
- Stack tires as needed.
- Change brakes, oil, and tires on various trucks.
- Service and general labor skills.
- Experience with oil changes, brake repairs, and power tools.
- Proficiency in tire rotation, alignment repair, and installation.
- Ability to use hand tools and pneumatic equipment.
- Understanding of blueprints and preventive maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ months of general labor experience.
- 6+ months experience using hand tools.
- 1+ years of experience working in an auto shop.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large warehouse with hundreds of tire treads alongside a team of four, depending on your department. The work schedule is the first shift from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The environment involves hands-on work with trucks that may not be clean upon arrival.
Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
