Light Diesel Mechanic

Marvin is seeking a Light Diesel Mechanic to keep our manufacturing operations running safely and reliably. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair light-duty diesel vehicles and equipment that support our premium window and door production. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and maintaining accurate service records. You'll work hands-on in a safety-focused, people-first environment that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement, with opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career over time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair light-duty diesel engines, components, and support systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks, forklifts, and plant equipment
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company maintenance standards
• Collaborate with production and facilities teams to minimize downtime
• Assist with parts identification, ordering, and inventory control
• Support continuous improvement efforts in reliability and maintenance practices
